Fuhrer Roy Mustang has had a busy day of things. So far, he's found out that the Havoc of his world has been kidnapped, and that Dante still has a mad-on for the Fuhrer's office, to say nothing of his own wife. Now, he's out looking for Fuhrer Bradley of his alternates' universe. Given their prior discussion he believes that this Bradley would not

"As I was saying, she has quite an unhealthy obsession with Havoc. According to alternates I've spoken with before, she seems quite obsessed with him, Dante would have little trouble recruiting her with some promise involving him. Similarly, I have little trouble believing that she's looking to create any new homunculi to replace those that she's lost. Say... one in the position of the Fuhrer that she can control?" Roy elaborates. "She wants myself and my wife, and in this situation, she'd have no reason to release Havoc if she got us. Strategically, it would be unsound," he explains, watching Bradley for any sign of reaction on this line of discussion. "She's likely to either kill Havoc and use Riza as a bargaining chip to make me bring back a homunculus in his body, or take over Riza's body, manipulate some other alchemist into making a homunculus version of me, and do something else with Havoc that I have yet to consider. Strategically, anyway. I could be wrong. Another strategist could likely come up with his own ideas on what the situation is."
He watches Bradley curiously, wondering what is going through the other Fuhrer's mind, when another thought crosses his mind.
"Oh, yes, one more thing. To do her body shifting, she needs a stone. As she currently stands, she's pretty weak on her own. Her last body deteriorated on her very quickly, after all."
He leaves the rest unsaid. He doesn't know much of any of this for a fact, but the strategic implications of the actions taken thus far make for some easy assumptions to be made. Besides that, anything that he doesn't say outright can't be thrown back at him as a lie in the event that he's wrong.

"So," he continued, "the way I see it is one of two ways if I understand you correctly. The first scenario is assuming she has a stone and that she will possibly make a homunculus out of yourself or another and then...I think you used the word 'transfer', into that body. The second assumes she requires another stone to be made in order for the first scenario to be made real. In this case, your officer is certainly being used as bait to draw you in in either case, but in this situation it is doubly so, particularly if your wife comes along. This way she has the possibility of more hostages and therefore more leverage with you to make you do what she wishes." His advice on this is pretty clear, leave Riza at home.
Now onto what he's more interested in, Lust's apparent joining of this person. "Lust seems to have an obsession with this officer of yours and seems to fulfilling her own agenda. This I need to verify for my own purposes. So then, would you be willing to trust a homunculus and let me join you?" He's smiling that typical smile of his, always hiding his emotions behind something looking so genial.

He reaches out over the table to Bradley, a surprisingly trusting gesture from this Roy.
