(Hollywood, CA)-- The television network TBS filed a law suit against Victory Records, the recording label of the pop-punk rock band Taking Back Sunday today. The network argues that the band is violating a copyright set by the network when it originally took the air. Taking Back Sunday apparently printed and sold many t-shirts, stickers and other apparel with the letters "TBS" on them.

Network spokesman Steve Armison said today, "The apparel the band has sold confused many people into thinking that the network was affiliated with a punk rock band and this had a negative impact on our company."

As this is a developing situation, there is not much information available. However, many experts believe that if the court does rule in favor of the network, Victory Records will be forced to give up almost 34 million dollars. A spokesman for Victory Records could not be reached for comment, but a close source has said that if the court does rule in favor of the television network, the label plans to drop Taking Back Sunday so they do not have to incur any losses from the suit.
