repost: give stuff to tyendinaga
Hey all,
This email is a bit late, but at our last meeting we discussed the
importance of having a donations drive for the folks out in
Tyendinaga, and for Crissy, who is soon to be embarking on her walk
to Toronto. I am driving through Tyendinaga in a few weeks and the
car I am going with is willing to drop off any donations, so if
people have anything to give (the list is at the end of this email)
it would be great if they could drop it off at Peter's (87 Ruby St.)
or contact me for another drop off spot by Sunday, May 11th, as I am
leaving on Monday or Tuesday.
What folks in Tyendinaga need:
deer meat, fish, non-perishable food, water, Camping equipment,
communications equipment, fuel, gas, propane, mobile phones, phone
cards, rain coats, gas masks, towels, soap, wet wipes, tooth bushes
and tooth paste, bear spray, gloves, work shoes, boots, runners,
socks, radios, two-way radios, hand held radio, flashlights, tents,
lanterns, wood for the fire, cooking utensils, plates and silverware,
first aid.
I am not totally sure of what Crissy needs, but the last email said
that funds were still being raised for food, water, supplies and
other travel expenses, so anything that could help I am sure would be
welcomed.
