Egale Canada has joined forces with legendary human rights performer Cyndi
Lauper to launch a national tour in support of gay, lesbian, bi, and
trans-identified equality. The True Colors 2008 Tour will feature Cyndi, The B-52s,
Carson Kressley and Rosie O'Donnell as well as other special guests in select
cities like Tegan and Sara, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, Joan Armatrading,
Wanda Sykes, Regina Spektor, Indigo Girls, The Cliks, Deborah Cox, Nona
Hendryx and many others. The Tour is playing two dates in Canada, Toronto on
June 4th and Vancouver on July 2nd. Egale will receive a dollar from every
ticket sold for the Canadian venues sharing the total with The 519 Community
Centre in Toronto and The Centre in Vancouver.
