that haunted house thing reminds me of that thing Maria used to go to... which I think was at the CNE, actually, with Peter (the cousin-uncle). maybe you went with her, once? the only haunted house you'll ever catch me in is Haunted Barrel Works at centreville... and even then I was terrified of that as a child. actually i think as a child i was terrified in general. the Scrambler used to scare me.
