Partys Over...

Well, it's been cold. Fucking cold and miserable for three days now... Get used to it. This past weekend was fucking wonderful! Got to leave Rochester on a very high note, was 75 Degrees, picked up Gary at the airport and headed directly for Toronto. Had a fantastic time! I'll try and cram the events of a 40 hour vacation into to as little reading as possible for your sake. Had Gary, Myself, Gary Dewind and AntonEo in the car, Myky and Niva following behind us and meeting 4 others in TO. At duty free we picked up some liquor, including a $40 bottle of Grandma that Gary B let fall off the roof of the car, shattering in into a pile of broken glass and Orangy goodness. Gar and I would have drunk it almost as fast, but not quite. So yeah, we had to buy another. Arriving at the hotel, one and a half hours and half a bottle of Grandma later, we found the parking garage was full and had to park a few blocks away. Upon trying to get her parking slip, Niva dropped one of her bags to the concrete. Not her purse, or luggage, but the bag containing a brand new bottle of Bacardi! Smash! Again, an all too familiar sound by now. Following a river of rum back to the hotel, we began a flawless evening. We met friends from Rochester and Atlanta, at "The Keg" for Dinner and cocktails. Perfect strangers met, greet and all hit it off. Every Busboy and Hostess took our pictures and we headed for Fly Nightclub. Mr. Dewind, while standing in line, at one point said to us, "I feel kind of funny. But I think I love it!" And so it began... Needless to say, he and all of us had a fantastic evening. We danced; we talked and thoroughly enjoyed the club. As the smoking ban has taken effect in Ontario, and Fly not being really set up to accommodate, we went through an interesting ordeal. Their outdoor patio can only hold about 20, so they "heard" you in a sense, into this sort of corral, until it's clear again for another 20. So much like waiting in line for a ride at Six Flags, security lets you out one at a time, as he counts, until it’s full again. We didn’t feel the need to smoke again. Seven AM came before we knew it. Off to Comfort Zone! And Gary, what a trooper! New to this, he hung with the pro's and came along and did it all over again 'til just afternoon. After a quick 3 hour nap, we headed to Woody's and the Church Street Festival to begin another adventure. This Halloween night was Antonio’s chance to shine :) He took an interesting direction to say the least. Thought id seen it all, but this was the first to witness a skinny gay boy dancing in front of a mirror and having life changing conversation with himself for 6 hours. (Yes, his mouth was moving, lol) He assured us he was fine and the therapy was good, we just had to explain to him that every sucker and bottle of water was not laced with various substances. :) All in all, was another fantastic evening with some of the best music I've ever heard. Happy Halloween! So after putting Antonio, his mother and very talkative subconscious to bed, Gary, Gary and I did not want to stop the party. Where do three excited homos go at seven AM Monday morning to continue the party you ask? Where else? The Bathhouse. After much debating, we finally found ourselves at the Spa Entry Window, realizing everyone will be fast asleep at this point. Ooops. So we went home, grabbed the yellow pages and began to look for an escort. For what reason, were not sure, but in our minds, at the time, it seemed like a fun idea. We had funny photo ideas for said hustler and a passed out Antonio, but bottom line, we thought we'd have a great story to tell. Yes, I know what you’re thinking, total crack heads. I cannot argue, but it was one of the funniest morning's I had ever spent. Another three hour nap and it was time to head out. :(

Back to America. Where things were supposed to be different in one day. But don't forget, this is OUR country, and we must support it whole heartedly, regardless of who's in charge. Don't forget, our democracy was built on power of the people and that no single man can hold too much power. So don't fret, we will always prevail...

The remainder of the week offered me freezing temperatures, miserable rain, the unignorable onset of yet another winter and and not getting my way politically. Not the best set of circumstances to come home to after such a great weekend. Good news came though, Gary has decided to move home for school in the very near future. Won't get my hopes up too much, 'cause I can't imagine him getting of the plane in Atlanta tonight, felling the 75 degree air and seeing such a beautiful cityscape in front of him and not changing his mind, but we shall see. Besides, where would I vacate every month if that were the case? :)

Bundle up boys and girls. Gunna be a grueling bunch of months. Think we'd be used to it by now, but I'm not. I'm so over it. Enjoy!!
