Google: Providing the internet community with endless handy programs, or PURE EVIL?
Just saw that google have released an instant messager service (lookie here). At first I thought BAH everyone uses msn now, who's gonna swap? But less than 5 years ago we were all using ICQ and never thought we'd change... Anyhoo I downloaded it and had a play, you can use your msn list on it, which i did.. and it didn't have anything better than msn that i could see, in fact it was uglier, a little bit more confusing to use and DID NOT import my naughty personalised emoticons! RUBBISH!
So after all this I've come to the conclusion that google is trying to take over the world. A few years ago they were just a humble search engine, now look at them, instant messager, gmail, google desktop search, picassa (does something with pictures), adwords, adsense, customised google news etc etc etc... Ive even heard rumours they are creating their own OS.. that shall be the end of us all.. get out while you still can and start hating google before it becomes cliche!
