Ooh, in the 2 months since I'd last been to a McDonald's something has changed. Last time I had wondered if they'll ever change to non-plastics. Today I got myself an icecream coffee and this time the McSundae came in a cardboard cup and with a wooden spoon, nice! On the other hand I wonder if we can produce enough trees (and fast enough) for the increasing demand.
Another thing I wonder about: Why is such a big deal made of products from recycled plastics? Since the stuff keeps falling apart into microplasics everywhere, wouldn't it be a better idea to withdraw it from circulation instead?
