Doctor Who 11x02 The Ghost Monument
Look who's finally catching up on Doctor Who! Btw, I've come to the conclusion that this delay isn't entirely my fault. There used to be outside pressure by spoilers, but fandom on LJ/Dw has gone a bit dead. :o/
So that's the new opening sequence. I'm not keen on that extra bassy bass.
The return of the evil cyan, nooo! But this time with extra yellow.
What, are the Doctor and Yaz not with the boys?

There they are! Did they get into a rallye or what is going on there?

Seriously, why don't people just run sideways in cases where this would clearly be the best way to go?!

Surprise, surprise, the Ghost Monument is the TARDIS.
Oh, the Venusian Aikido is back.
The toxic atmosphere is mentioned again and I'm still wondering if it was explained why nobody has issues with it yet.
Ugh, does this mean the Stenza are our season arc?
How hilarious that the moving cloth that I called "Lethifold" in my mind indeed does suffocation. Oh, and it comes to kill you at night!

Why so down? They got there early, that'll be the reason the TARDIS isn't there yet. ... See, there it is!
The depth of field really annoyed me this episode. In my opinion you're doing a bad job when not all of your subject's face is in focus.
Interesting new thing they did with the TARDIS entrance.
So far I don't like the new round things. Maybe they'll look better with more light on.
What's the point of the hourglass?
That little spinning TARDIS makes me cringe a bit.
The speculoos dispenser is nice though!
