Earlier this month I posted this:
Ha, irrationality is a major beef I have with myself. I used to talk with my psychologist about how annoyingly conflicted I am. It's rational thoughts versus irrational feelings and no matter how hard I try, the feelings always have the upper hand. Of course we didn't get this issue resolved, but it was nice to have someone to vent to.
And now I just found out there's a word for it: cognitive dissonance. I just seem to have a problem with reducing dissonance. Forever cognitively dissonant *insert meme face here*.
And I'm still wondering if there's a word for words that have more than one vowel, but it's always the same vowel. Like banana, severed, bikini, bookworm, succubus.
