I rediscovered Panic! at the Disco

Feb 26, 2012 02:19

I used to be a Panic! at the Disco fan, I really liked their first album and fandom (although pretty insane) was really fun. But I didn't like the second album and left PatD behind. Though there was a bit of hope when the band split because they didn't agree on the sound. I decided to keep following the band that kept the name, because that seemed to be the sound I wanted. But the third album couldn't win me back.

When I work I like to listen to music, but I always feel that I don't have enough music and have to listen to the same stuff over and over. So last week I thought I could listen to PatD again. After I listened to the first album, of course it made sense to listen to the second. It's still a bit weird, but the initial disappointment has dissipated now. Then I continued with the third album and I fell in love with it! Ha, better late then never.

God, there's something beautiful about Brendon's voice.
Oh, and did you know it took me way too long to get that there's something weird with the title Nine in the Afternoon? I have the problem that I see, but I don't observe, so it took me ages to I finally notice that there is no 9 in the afternoon, it's in the evening. Hey, don't look at me like that! I'm used to 24-hour clocks.
