So I usually do a end of semester wrap up kind of post, talking about what I've learned and all that. I guess this time I could do a end of college post, but that would be really long and boring and perhaps a bit bit painful to write.
So what did I learn from this semester? Again, some things that would have been very useful to know when I first came to college. Namely, that I have no ability to work on something without an outside source of deadlines. I must remedy this.
Other than that, I was reminded that people and things and life are unpredictable. That sometimes I get more credit than I deserve based on reputation, and that for some reason people are willing to give me second chances.
Anyway, all that is far from being deep and meaningful. On to a life update.
Graduation was the usual pomp and circumstance, let's get it over with. I do realize I am pretty lucky to get out in four years with a double major, especially after wasting some time as an education major the first two years. Then again, I did take a lot of summer classes, so that helped. My parents threw me a nice party and lots of family showed up.

Since graduation I've mostly just been hanging out and not doing much. I finally have time to read for myself, so I've been diving into books I've had sitting on my shelf for months. I need to actually write out a reading list for myself, and focus on plays.
(I'm also playing video games again... but not new games. Old games I've played the crap out of.)

On the employment front, I'm in the running for a job that might actually have something to do with my degree (gasp). I don't wanna say too much, but at least it would be a job in a theatre doing something theatre related.
I'm also getting into a business venture of sorts with my brother (who is also my connection for the theatre job. Thanks Andy-- best brother ever).

I've also marked down on my calender a bunch of auditions for local and community theatre shows. I gotta work on some monologues and keep my fingers crossed.

As soon as I have job (that I can also afford my car payments and my student loan payments) my brother also said I can move in with him for the price of cable tv and internet every month-- which is seriously cheap compared to what he charges his other roommate. Just gotta get the job first.

Anyway, that's life.
