i... sell fossils.

i'm dead serious. finally got a job, although i made a mistake in the interview by saying that i don't mind any department. that stupid line landed me in the dry department. business, science, IT, fossils, gemstones, globes, maps, french and german books, aka 'academics' department. i know zilch about most of these stuff lol. ah well, it'll most probably be fun.

i'm sharing locker with this other girl, who i haven't met yet... but it's really easy to identify which locker is mine. there's strawberry shortcake stickers all over it lol. and i got a gigantic shoe box to put my shoes too.

the environment there looks fun. i'm just glad that i didn't get the children's section, from what they have been saying, it's pure terror on weekends. believe me, most Singaporean kids are far from cute, they're just made of horrible stuff. i still don't understand why this is so, but it's the truth.

there was an orientation programme yesterday, it was really long and boring. and i was having a fever. it's a little difficult to pay attention when your brains are getting fried.

at least this will be a good distraction on weekends, away from school and stuff.

i hope that i'll find out who's crazy enough to buy a $3000 fossil. that would be interesting.

call me retarded, but i'm really really fascinated by the shrink wrapping machine!

i'll be starting on saturday at Kinokuniya Takashimaya. whee~!

and what's with that L'Arc Paris photobook advertisement poster in Kino Taka? i swear that it's just there to poke fun at me. i got a shock when i saw it yesterday. yes, this shows how long i've not been to the Japanese section in Kino.

i met up with Wei Cao, Dazhi, Moses and Shavone last sunday, and i overslept again and missed my class. crap. i seriously need to tweak my sleeping habits. Dazhi showed us his pictures from his 3 months holidaying in Japan. and all i can say is OMFG, I'M SO DAMN JEALOUS. i think he nearly covered all of Japan, except 2 places. Hokkaido and Okinawa, maybe. but OMFG! the pictures were gorgeous. of course, we insisted that it's due to his DSLR camera, not his skills lol. what amazed me the most was that he went to Summer Sonic and Fuji Rock! he saw like the Sex Pistols and Vampire Weekend, in total, about 60-80 artists. when he said Summer Sonic... the only thing that went through my head was VAMPS VAMPS VAMPS VAMPS VAMPS. but nah, he didn't see VAMPS. but still, OMFG.

ps: unfortunately, i don't have staff discounts yet. ask me again in a few months lol.
