man o man. fire season is taaaaaaaaking off. i had just gotten off work last night and i was in the office finnishing up a report so i could go take a final, and the office phone rings. so i answer and someone was reporting a fire near castaic, so i let everyone know and we rolled. it was three fires on the southbound 5 near castaic burning in dead grass...very thick grass. so we fought them and shit and man we took some seeeerious heat and smoke. at one point me and two other dudes had to run back to the freeway cuz we had fire going OVER OUR FREAKIN HEADS. it was sweet. we knocked it down. only 8 acers. but we werent done, we got called to a few more and we didnt get off till midnight. and i had a final....buttttttttttttttt i missed it...shit. oh well, i talked to the teacher, we worked it out.
tomarrow we are going to san diego for the entire fuckin day to light a bunch of fires and play with them. so ill take pics and put them on this and myspace.
