Not all warriors can conquer all their battlefields. Sometimes treaties have to be drawn.
I did not make the Aix-en-Provence, France study abroad program. This is final, even if a literally twisted that woman’s arm. All decisions are final; they only make people believe that they can appeal these things to lure the disappointed applicants into the office to console and distract with alternative options.
Treaty: No Aix, but still can study in France. I have to redo all paperwork plus the extra this program insists on, but I’m a shoe-in. I can’t redo my interview, but I can hate that horrible little man until my dying breath.
I’d say it’s a draw.
