Conversations with Fictional Characters
I had an awesome opportunity to travel to the US and visit Orlando with my friend, Shara this month. Out Orlando trip was short but was filled with great memories!
On our second day, we wento to Universal - Islands of Adveture theme park! This was the first part of our Orlando vacay because this is where the magic is! Wizarding World of Harry Potter yo! We had a great time and we even had photos taken with various characters from the HP world and Marvel World.
Here are some interesting quotes from the characters:
Spiderman
*in his superhero voice*
"Stay right there! I'll be back in 10 minutes!" (exit stage left)
"Smile ladies! For Facebook!"
Captain America
"Where are you ladies from?"
"Philippines? Wow! Okay, do your best Manny Pacquiao pose!"
*who would have thought the Captain America is a huge fan of Pacman?
Hogwarts Express conductor
"Ooh I see you brought me butterbeer!"
"Great! Just teasin me eh?"
"Let's do the "Here's-a-delicious-butterbeer-that-I-cant-have-pose!"
*I might be paraphrasing here but the message is still there! ;)
On our third day in Orlando, we visited Epcot Center since Shara and I have been to Disneyland, and Magic Kingdom has the same layout. Epcot is something unique to Disney World Orlando so that's where we went!
We had fun exploring the whole park. Went around the world in 1 day! Yeaaah! Haha We also met a few characters representing their own countries.
Aladdin and Jasmine
"Oh we love the Philippines! We just dont like Balut!"
Jasmine: "I love your bracelet!"
Snow White
"Oh hello Princesses! Do you like to make a wish? I have a wishing well right here!"
"Would you like to wish for your princes to come?"
"Well if it doesnt work out, I know 7 little men that you could meet!"
Oh how I love your wish for us, Snow White! Hehe :p
Really, these characters have feelings too and they're updated with what's happening around the world! Hahaha
