Big Brother and Tweets
They were testing surveillance cameras at the office today. Apparently, they are installing cameras for security purposes. So while the manongs were trying to find a good angle for the camera, people started telling jokes about it.
Officemate 1: "Uy may mga hayden cameras! Scandal!"
Officemate 2: "PBB style! Kulang na lang may maririnig na tayong boses ni Kuya!"
The Big Brother comments inspired conversations. We started asking the "what ifs" or implications of the hidden cameras. So, what if may kuya nga? Like, "Anong ginagawa mo sa 7th floor? May mga kelangan ka pang tapusin sa baba." or ", bumaba ka sa confession room at may kailangan akong sabihin sa iyo." Given that circumstance, will someone end up being evicted? How do you save them? Thru text votes?
These questions triggered one officemate to ask a series of questions - Oh no, what if our evaluation is mala-PBB style? That would be scary. What if all offices are like reality shows? Someone gets voted out or evicted.
Let me guess, higher unemployment rate?

A friend gave me an Ako Mismo dogtag because I told him that I wanted one and I wasn't able to get one during the Independence Day event at The Fort. So, Paola overheard that our officemate got it from Chris Tiu.
Paola: "Chris Tiu?! Wow buti pa sayo galing kay Chris Tiu! Sa akin galing lang sa kuya ko!" =))
She was sooooo red because we were really laughing hard from her comment!
Again, Paola told me about this horoscope website and how her July forecast seemed promising. So, I checked it out.
Forecast for July: "You may be planning a personal stimulus package, single-handedly helping the economy by shopping." Kaya lang sa HK =))
Sadly, I will be helping HK's economy. :)) Winner forecast!
