Almost 2 years ago, I won a phone through Globe's electronic raffle during the AdCongress. It's an O2 XDA Stealth. Yep, it's a smart phone powered by Windows Mobile.
Tonight, it did something unexplainable. It's baffling! Here's the story...My phone died because obviously, low batt. When I got home, I immediately charged it and then after 30 mins (approx.) I turned it on but then instead of the usual O2 blue screen, it turned into a black screen with words on it...something like the stuff you see on your monitor when your PC boots. So I turned it off, removed the battery. When I turned it on, voila! It reformatted itself! *bangs head on desk* WTH?! What happened?! I lost everything stored in the phone: the contacts that weren't saved in my sim, my calendar, my messages.
So much for a smart phone indeed. I'm going back to the more mainstream brands...Nokia N97 please!
