So I finally got one (thanks Mich!) but, that's not the story. Anyway, I showed my new chucks to my mom and Mielle and I wore my rainbow-colored knee high tights/socks (from Tintin's Britain escapade last year) to show off the purpose/function of the shoes. Then our helper, Ate Lea entered the room...
Me: Ate Lea, may new shoes ako!
Ate Lea: Ano ba yan, ganyan na nga sapatos mo, ganyan pa medyas mo!

Timing sa timing, my mom was drinking water when Ate Lea made the comment. Can you imagine what happened? Well, that almost happened.
