mouse update:
so i go to make a bagel this morning. as i'm about to put it in the toaster, what comes jumping out of it? tiny little bulgy-eyed grey-haired mouse. fuck! it was eating the crumbs inside my toaster! i cleaned it out, but i lost my appetite. i don't know when the next time i make toast will be. which sucks cause i just bought some perfectly tasty montreal bagels and old-fashioned cream cheese.
so i set 2 traps: one humane one that keeps them alive and one of those old school ones that looks like some killing device from WW1. aaaaaaand we finally caught one. in the deadly trap. which is sad, but we gave that fucker a chance. and he was being a terrorist.
those 1$ hollywood brand cigarettes i got in cuba last year have come in handy. i'm not a smoker otherwise, but this is why these things were invented: for poor girls with anxiety who have occasional mouse terrorist issues in their apartments.
yup. definitely moving this july.
