Went to the Wheel Club on Monday for hillbilly night. It's so refreshingly different than the usual hangouts. And I love hearing the older crowd tell stories from the past. If you feel like becoming a regular with me, it's every Monday, on Cavendish and Sherbrooke.
Also: Korova (St-Laurent) plays really good music on Wednesdays. Hearing Kick out the Jams, Chinese Rocks, some songs by the Buzzcocks and many old favourites took me back to when I was reading Please Kill Me by Legs McNeil years ago. Too bad the place was dead. I would have danced.
