thanks for everyone's concern. i was helping our neighbors save whatever wasn't ruined by water yesterday, and we're totally lucky. we're in the first row of apartments that are habitable after this mess...no water-damage and almost no smoke damage, remarkably.
all i have to do is walk down the hall outside our unit, and the floor gets squishy. mmm.
haha, i went to school yesterday and one of my teachers says, "sounds like you had a hot time last night".
