What do you mean? Are you talking about the people who were supposedly "erased?"

[Bazett is working on her notes again. Apparently, after a certain time, some people forgot that the "erased" people had been erased in the first place.]

Is that it?

[Sealand makes a drawn-out "hmm" noise as he considers this.]

Maybe? When did people get erased?

Remember that announcement a couple of days ago? The mayor read off a bunch of names and claimed that they had been erased and replaced with Mayfield constructs.

[She cannot remember the exact list of names, but she knows that at least one of her allies had been on it.]

...But I think it is highly possible that he is lying. All evidence points to them still existing.

Oh yeah, they made a bunch of people disappear!

[That was part of why he tried to attack the dairy. So why...]

Why aren't people talking about it much anymore?

Because they have forgotten.

[If she had not taken notes, then she too would have forgotten completely.]

From the very beginning, the town was not aiming toward anyone's physical existence. They were aiming for our memories. Those people that chose to sacrifice themselves in their dreams...the town is making us forget them.

That's not fair!

[Sealand can at least, when prompted, remember the general circumstances, if not any specific people who chose to erase themselves.]

That's like, the worst thing you can do to someone who did something like that!

I know. That is why I am trying to see if there is any way to get those memories back. If anything, they deserve better than the way we have treated them over the last several days.

["Treat Tohsaka nicer the next time I see her" has also been included in her notes.]

Do you think we could try getting those memories back from the post office?

[Memories could be traded around like other regains, right? So if she asked for the memories as a regain...]

I dunno, maybe? You'd have to guess what they were worth, though, or they'll take an arm or something too.

I think...they are worth a lot to me.

[The least she could do to make up for her cowardice would be to make sure at least one person in Mayfield could remember their "lost" comrades. Even if she has to give up something extremely important in exchange. And right now, her most important posesssion is...]

Can I ask you to do something? Just in case they take one memory in exchange for another?

Sure! What is it?

[She smiles, a little bitterly, as she speaks.]

Please, tell Lancer, the one named Cu Chulainn, that Bazett Fraga McRemitz is still a stupid little girl with a crush on him. And that she forgot about him for a good cause.

[So she could remember his Master and everyone else that had been erased.]

And tell him that even if I was never his Master, I still thought of him as a friend. I was really happy...finally getting to know him. My memories of him are the most precious things I have here, which is why I gave them up for something equally precious. He shouldn't be sad, because I'll have all the time here to get to know him again.

Can you remember all of that?

[Sealand's quiet for a moment, going over it in his head. He sounds serious when he answers.]

I can remember it. Promise!

Thank you. Sorry for troubling you with all that. Do you think I can have your name so that I can contact you after my trip to the post office? If they do not take my memories, then I can tell you to neglect to send that message.

Okay. I'm Sealand! Maybe you won't have to give up all your memories.

It depends on how they feel at the post office.

[She jots Sealand's name down just in case she ends up forgetting.]

I am sure that no matter what they take, once I get memories of our comades back, I will be able to find a way to reverse the town's effects.
