(no subject)
First off, how are you all doing? I've been trying to read my friends list every day, even if I don't always comment.
As for me, I'm okay. Work is...interesting to say the least. I mean, when there's actually clients, it's great! But lately there's been more and more days where I'm literally standing around for clients to show up, and since it's all commission based, days like that suck twice-fold.
Plus, while my co-workers are nice enough, sometimes I feel like they get away with stuff that I would never try. Like they're constantly late for their shift, and always sit on the chairs while on the floor, even though that's supposed to be a big no-no. I don't know, maybe I should just keep quiet and keep sipping my tea.
I do know that I do not want to do this for much longer. I said I would try to stay at least six months before moving on. I would really like to be an independent contractor with my own business, but I'm not sure how to start. I would love to do a mobile reflexology business, but I'm not sure how popular that would be? Maybe for areas with high foot traffic (ha!), but I don't know how many people would want their feet massaged in public. I really want to break into pediatric massage, but the special foundation for it hasn't announced when their next workshop in my area would be held.
In other news, I really miss fandom and talking to people about it, but I don't know how to really go about it for the Deadpool fandom. While I'm not really in the Merlin fandom much these days (sorry!), I do miss the chats we all had together.
I kind of want to run another fandom fest, but for all fandoms. I do have that idea for a winter themed porn fest kicking around in my head, but someone on tumblr mentioned fics based off cheesy Hallmark holiday movies, which is tempting too. But I don't know how many people are already participating in fests around this time of year?
