(no subject)
Today was great. I got off work earlier than was planned, and had time to go home and take a quick nap. I got to court and found out that once again, the judge didn't show up. The downside of this is that I have to go back next month, but the upside is I didn't have to deal with all that bs and had the rest of the day to deal with stress-free. James and I finally went to Piedmont Park, and spent several hours just lying on the grass, talking, reading, and in James' case, napping. It was wonderful. Unfortunately, I somehow have a sunburn . . . on one shoulder only. What's worse is that I was wearing a sleeveless shirt, so I have this horrible line now, too. Solution? Go back to the park tomorrow, wear a tube top, apply sunscreen to burned shoulder, lie in the opposite direction, and try to even it out. Today I started reading Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk, and finished half of it already. Because of the way it's written, I just can't seem put it down. It's just so intriguing! Also, it turns out Chanelle was dead on about the energy of the earth 'healing' my feet. As weird as it sounds, it totally worked. I was very pleasantly surprised.
