Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was recently forced to return $200,000 donated to his foundation when word leaked out
that the donation had originated from the Chinese government. And then, when a political ally was accused of being helped by
China in his election bid, Trudeau responded by accusing those who criticized the foreign assistance of racism.

Globe & Mail reports a Chinese billionaire with ties to Beijing donated $1 million to the Trudeau foundation in 2014 in honor
of the “elder Trudeau” in 2016, including $200,000 to the foundation.
Also another Chinese Canadian Liberal MP Han Dong is said to have benefited from connections with the Chinese consulate in
Toronto during his regional election.
