STUPID LETO

Peter just likes Leto a lot, and even before he caught on on who he was, Leto's powers didn't feel invasive at all, so that automatically took away most of the wariness he has with mind readers. And once he found out who he was he just rolled with it, because WELL! Leto Atreides, I can't win anyway.

So he's fond of him and enjoys snarking at him, and he's glad there's someone around who just sort of gets how crazy his time line is without having to go into too many details. It's pretty refreshing.

Rain just loves Leto forever and in this latest thread he realized Leto is a lot like himself

Leto-Peter - Leto finds Peter to be refreshing, someone who is very self-aware of his problems, his faults and issues and while they do affect him, they don't take away the person he is, and Leto is a great lover of people and Peter feels, to him, as a very real person. What really bothers Leto is that he's not sure how to help. Leto is ultimately a helper
(a shitty one but HE TRIES) and he doesn't know what to do and it is supremely worrying for him, not to be able to help. So he might just hang around Peter for a while until the moment arises.

Leto-Rain - oh man Rain is Leto's little Batigh, his little melon. He loves teasing him but god forbid anyone else trying to hurt Rain. He just enjoys Rain's company and the things that Rain says, which is very similar to the things Leto used to believe in. It helps that Rain is just very much alive and caring, embodying all the qualities that Leto loves in people, wants to protect and wants to prosper. Buuut now Rain has turned the tables on him, making Leto vulnerable. Leto knows Rain

With Leto his original plan was to build a tiny Worm robot, but then he remembered Dune doesn't dig technology and that the Worm is sacred, so he's re-thinking it since he doesn't know if that would be ridiculously offensive.

ALSO. RE: LETO HELPING. Leto is actually the person who's helped him out the most and he's sending Lincoln to talk to him 'cause he needs help too /o/

BECAUSE YOU ENJOY SCI-FI, TERRIBLE THINGS, BROMANCE AND BADASS FEMALE CHARACTERS.

It's just consistently awesome, and it has Olivia who is one of the most amazing female characters I've ever seen on TV. It also has great build-up and throughout three seasons it managed not to piss me off except for a very brief 3 ep arc in season 3. (BUT IT WAS COOL AGAIN AFTER THAT)

ALSO JJ ABRAMS.

ALSO JOSHUA JACKSON GOT THE ROLE OF PETER BECAUSE HE AUDITIONED FOR KIRK IN THE STAR TREK REBOOT. So that by itself should totally sell that.

LETO CAN RAIN AND MACHIKA MOVE IN WITH YOU? The underground is depressing now that Yuca is gone 8(

He would have to ask Charles Xavier. He doesn't mind, but he knows Charles is a telepath and that can be difficult. Not to mention he feels Charles deserves/needs some privacy, having some 20 kids in camp and all.

If it's A-okay, he'll let them move in, with many long-suffering sighs.

Does Rain miss Yuca?

Yes! But he is very very used to missing Yuca, he waited for him 600 years etc etc, so the feeling is not overwhelming. By now Rain is accustomed to losing people and missing them, plus he knows he'll see him again at home so it's okay.

He wouldn't do it with anyone else because he would never be entirely sure about how they feel about it, but Erik has been... very clear about his feelings on Leto and his strangeness. In a sense, Leto would reward Erik first.

Yukiatsu
* HIS CANON. Anohana is a beautiful anime, one of the best I've seen in my life.
* He is a normal teenager with normal (if messed up) teenage feelings and he deals with them like a normal teenager would. A lot of back and forth.
* OH NO HE KISSED ANARU AND NOW THE WORLD IS ENDING. I love playing shoujo angst.
* He tries very hard to be an asshole but he can't always do it right, and then sometimes he's an asshole accidentally.
* He is very pretty.

Rain
* is insane in the best way ever.
* is very different from other characters his type in the sense that he has never done anything evil, so he's not seeking redemption. And he isn't blind nor wants to be blind to humanity's flaws. He loves humans as they are.
* he is unbreakable. There is literally nothing you can do to him that he won't eventually overcome.
* he doesn't have a mask. He doesn't "act" clumsy and dumb, he really is both.
* he is very pretty.

Peter* A GENIUS WHO MAKES A LOT OF REALLY DUMB CHOICES

- I loved him from the beginning for just not dealing with things normally. It appealed to me.
- His inherent kindness towards people and his pacifism.
- His willingness to move forward, even when it's detrimental to him.

Dean
- HIS HUMOUR
- His selflessness even when he's a dick.
- His struggle between what should be done and what is the right thing to do.

Leto
- his love for every single person.
- His trolling
- James McAvoy.

Kirk
- THE UNDERDOG. I love that Kirk triumphs not just against everyone, but he finally triumphs for himself.
- His underlying snarky/bitter humour.
- His studliness.

Yuri
- being the first and only sensible not-sacrificial Tales hero.
- His relationship with Flynn. ... Actually his relationship with everyone. It shows he's extremely faceted.
- The lengths he would go to protect people.

Stefan
- HIS LOVE FOR DAMON which became a hilarious canon plot point.
- He's willing to make fun of himself, able to see himself from other people's point of view.
- He loves the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

... THIS IS PROBABLY NOW WHAT YOU MEANT BUT.

Rain/Yukiatsu Yukiatsu would be a jerk all the time but Rain would eventually win him over. They'd work nicely with Yukiatsu growing up to be successful!! And Rain being a housewife.

Rain/Peter ... wouldn't work. They'd get along fine as friends but nothing else.

Peter/Yukiatsu would also not work, but Peter would end up as a sort of big brother figure and try to help him out.

that... that's really hard. UH OKAY.

- Oz/Ten-Chan still lives on in my heart because Ten-Chan really helped Oz grow and believe in himself. Oz/Ari was great too.
- Haruka/Klavier is still my ultimate friendship that I've ever rped.
- SCAR/LUFFY WAS BEAUTIFUL ALL THE TIME.
- Casshern/anyone was great. I can't remember specifics but they were great threads.
- Tokage/Kamui, because they bonded and Kamui actually became fond of her.
- Hayate/Tsuzuki was great because they both had this pain, but they dealt with it differently.
- Dean/Dante developed amazingly since Dean actually sees him as his first and best friend.
- Kirk/Isaak. :(
- Yuri/Asch, because Asch was a sad angry snowflake and Yuri got to him somehow.
-Haruki/Euphemia was great while it lasted.
- Everyone Leto threads with. Leto's CR is my favourite.

Rain/Jade... Rain/Jade/Sebastian it was entirely accidental and magical.

Obi-Wan/Ash early on, also Obi-Wan/Anakin. Swift/Rikuou also early on. YEARS OF FAILING AT GETTING CR AND THEN SUDDENLY MAGIC.
