HELLSING PLOTTING POSTHere is the plotting post for all things Hellsing related in Bete Noire! There will be a new thread for each week to keep things organized. Feel free to discuss anything relevant to Hellsing, whether it's a post on the IC or OOC comms you think Hellsing would bother investigating, it's some plot idea you have for Hellsing to

-CONTENTMENT: As announced in this week's State of the Game, this week contentment and a sense of happiness washes over the city. If you want your character to be effected by it, be sure to keep this in mind throughout the week. A lot of our characters could really use a few days of good emotions, considering everything they've been through, you know?
-PARTY: There's going to be a feast for the entire city on the 16th, but Hellsing is going to have their own party and celebration of sorts. The log is going up tomorrow, the 13th, but we will be backtagging it until the cows come home, so be sure to keep an eye out for people tagging into it and who you might want to talk to/get to know better during this event. It will hopefully be the first of many open logs that we do, since the response was pretty much unanimous last week that everyone would be interested in doing something like this.
--If your character can cook and wouldn't mind doing so for at least handwaving how we got the food prepared, let us know! Ianto'd do it if he could but he's not really a cook by any means of the word, and Owen's little better, haha.
--As a note, we're sorry to the characters who can't make it there (Wes and Sirius, you're gonna get out of prison and be available for the next one, I swear it), but like I said, this will not be the only open log we'll have ever, so don't fret! You'll get your chance!
-WES AND SIRIUS: Would you like any sort of Hellsing involvement in getting you guys out of prison? Because right now, they're down two members, one important because of his magic abilities and the other a member of the senior staff (even if he is still technically on probation...) and they would really like those members back eventually.
-NOTES ON STUFF: Just general notes on game things.
--The barrier is down, so those on the team to help magically replenish the food are slowly weaning off of having to do that.
--The heat is still abysmal, but there's a breeze so it's bearable. This means the day of the party's going to be hot, but good thing Hell House is cool (thank you aircon and wizards), so you can go inside to escape from the heat if you want to.
--Crime is more settled, so people stationed on riot control on the barrier are relieved of those duties as well, and can return to business as usual.
--I'm sure everyone is looking forward to a little time off of being hugely busy with big bads right now, but if anyone has any ideas for other plot things to do, bring it up here so we can all discuss it? :> I know that there's that plot that it was mentioned last week was coming up, but. Just in general, go go communication skills!
And, as always:
WHAT ARE YOU DOING THIS WEEK?: Where is your character now? :> What they've been up to, what they're doing, if they've got any sort of open log or open post up anywhere? Let us know!

*wink* Does this mean Wes also gets an offer of help? Even though Lindsey is on it.

Also, stuff that might be useful in Sirius' defense (some of this applies to Wes, too):
- The Magistrate admitted the famine was her fault over the network
- Sirius aided in food replenishing and taking down the barrier (the Doctor can vouch for this)
- he voluntarily turned himself in AND stayed in prison even though he had the ability to Apparate out at any time
- The prison break was actually unsuccessful. At least, his part of it. Rush escaped after the riot, I think. So it was more like an attempted prison break. XD
- The EMP part that knocked out the power came from Rush's lab. Sirius actually had no part in that, and doesn't even understand the technology involved.

- Wes unfortunately didn't do as much, since his magic is weaker and smaller in scope (at present, he may be asking for help to develop more proficiency.) and so couldn't help take down the barrier. But he did work pretty hard in the archives trying to find a solution or something which would aid in the efforts. He volunteered for the clean up crew but then Angelus happened and he was arrested.
- Wes didn't turn himself in but he did go peacefully when the arrest happened. He also hasn't given up any names. Sirius has been more cooperative in that area.
- Wes' role in the prison break was primarily to protect Delta. He used tranq guns to try to keep potential injuries/fatalities to a minimum. Like Sirius, he really had no part in the planning or execution of the EMP.

I think option 2 would work, if you're game for that :> No one should be kept from a feast, especially not werewolf, especially not a werewolf that's a prominent member of society and would be there otherwise. We could either have it so that someone from Hellsing is actually there accompanying him, or we can just handwave that there's someone there lurking around and keeping an eye on him. Which would you prefer?

OH while we're talking here, since I'm not sure what's going on with that log that we started, do we want to just handwave and say that Ianto took Sabriel on as a contract for them?
