Alright, well. This week, I really was looking to get this up after the State of the Game, but nearing on the end of Tuesday, there still isn't one up, so I might as well get this up now. There really isn't a lot going on Hellsing-wise this week, so this is going to be a really short update. I'll get something up here as a note when the State of the Game does eventually get up, but. Until then, here is a note to consider for this week:

-BOGEYS IN THE BASEMENT: Okay, not really. But no one's allowed down there this week except for Scott and Owen without express permission, because Raylan's going to be using the cells for his transformation and he wants to keep his identity as confidential as possible. They will know that they've got a werewolf in the basement, but that's about as far as that goes. Hopefully that'll keep them away? Scott, you're in charge of making sure no one breaks orders and sneaks down anyway.

And as always:
WHAT ARE YOU DOING THIS WEEK?: Where is your character now? :> What they've been up to, what they're doing ( ... )

We've been told by a mod that the starvation of the city is going to persist until the PCs find a way to either fix the gate or find some alternative food source. I think at one point, Rukia is going to ask for an official statement from the Powers That Be concerning the repair of the gate.

Getting foot in the door for Hellsing being a big part of stopping the crisis y/y? The gate is a strange blend of magic and technology, so we can take advantage of the unique expertises of Hellsing to help out with this.

Jack has sent the Doctor new information about the cause of the problem. Hopefully Team Science can help sort it too.

Sirius will be offering to help Team Science since a) there's magic involved and b) he caused the problem to begin with, but idk when he's getting arrested, or how that's going to go down, so. :|b

Wes will also want to help, since he can do magical research side of things at least. He also feels responsible and wants to help but again that will depend on what's happening with the investigation.

Hey, maybe you can answer this question for me -- how did the EMP thing actually happen? Like, how did they cause it? I can't remember what was discussed on plurk.

LOL it was handwaved. I presume that someone connected with Rush's lab orchestrated that part. So Wes doesn't know anything useful about that.

From what I recall, it was established an EMP thing was used to block out comms for the mission. But unexpectedly it didn't just affect the prison block radius but caused random disruptions around the city. Then it was discovered that it also somehow knocked out all travel to and from the city.

Oooh ok, gotcha. So Sirius doesn't know anything useful about it either, except that it was connected. XD

Team Science has been trying to figure out what's up with the borders too, but I don't think they've had much luck yet. Scott and the Doctor have been talking about it, though, so if someone approaches Hellsing about it Scott's probably got some information on it.

Wonderful! Rukia will be trying to keep the area around the gate secure so they can work in peace.

And then Team Science can reverse the polarity of the neutron flow or something. :Db

Not much going on for Scott this week, apart from flipping out a little about the previous week, but that's mostly confined to flipping out at Jim and being cagey and avoiding everyone.

He catches anyone trying to sneak down into the basement and he'll march them right up to Ianto's office. B| And possibly he'll threaten to do horrible unspeakable things to them with his knives, but mostly he'll march them up to Ianto's office. Bless him, he's gone native.

If I think of anything else/if anything changes with SotG, I'll add a note in.

OH RIGHT YES ALSO

I think it's safe to say that by now, Scott's got the net guns all finalized and built. And he's kept the blueprints, so if they ever need more it's a simple matter of finding someone with the materials who can follow directions. :|b

What kind of werewolf eats fried chicken. That seems a very un-werewolf thing to eat.
