Bada$$ Mother-effer
So wow. This weekend has been surreal at best - pretty much filled with drunken antics and punctuated with normalcy.
Friday Mel and I were Team Awesome. I later on found out that everything came out in the wash, and Mel and I's respective friends didn't end up hating us. Which was good.
Yesterday afternoon was spent with Katie and the munchkin, which is funny because he's totally a crazy man.
Went to the mall and rode the carousel - which by the way, gets way more intense when attempting to entertain a 2-year old.
Last night I went to the David Allen Coe show at the Madison Theatre, and wow was it packed. I mean filled with rebel flags and skullets, leather vests and goatees, long hair, beer bellies, and Harley Davidson Tee shirts. I obviously fit right in... My co-workers bought me a ticket in the hopes that they might open my eyes to rebel country. Although I can't say that I hate the music now - as it was pretty fun as much as it was funny - I can't see myself going to another one of those shows.
Today I'm hoping to stay home, do some laundry, and clean up a little. I've realized that I have let my place go to the point of disaster, and it needs to be remedied before it gets any worse.
So I got the job! I start Feb. 20th, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to get my ass kicked by the workload I have to take on starting out. But after the initial push, I'm hoping that I'll kick ass enough to have a few normal work weeks.
Ok, time for shower and then cleaning!
