So in the interest of keeping people that I know and care about in the know about me I update LJ.
I uh, yeah, I've been working a shitfuckton.
Today I found out that NTFS filesystems don't like partitions larger than 2 terabytes.
Yeah, file that under shit I never thought was going to be important.
I started college again, for the fourth time in 8 years! This time it's actually a good thing because I feel somewhat driven to do well. Also it's a competency based course load, and I can move as fast or slow as I please. Also since most of my courses are certifications in the IT field, I will be enhancing my career in more than one way, and not be tied down to the mundane crap of classroom lecture. That, and finally I found a way to get a goddamn piece of paper the way I want to do it!
Other than that, shit's been up and down: Mom had her left hip operated on, which was a complete success. Then she had her right hip re-operated on, which was this past week, so hopefully that's good.
Still trying to maintain my calm before the whirlwind of vacations I'm taking at the end of this month/beginning of next. I just can't wait to get up on out of the midwest for a while.
Hangin with the boys from ZT tonight, that should be fun (read: drunk and wacky)
Hopefully tomorrow hanging with Kary, maybe watching weiner dog races. wtf is that about you say? I say "Iuhhnuhh"
