True Friendship
Back in the 70's there was once a boxer that said something quite insightful:
"a true friend is not just someone who would die to save you but would do so without question"
In this day and age however it seems like such an idea has sadly become a foreign concept and we may regard our close friends as those willing to lend us money and so forth but dying in our place?
Does anyone know friends they think are so loyal they would do that? and what do people think on the whole conept of friendship like this in this day and age - have we become more selfish and introverted?I do believe that the true meaning of friendship has been lost. But no one really knows what the true meaning of friendship is, so what are we to base the concept of friendship on?
