i'm not at uni anymore but i remember how stressful it was with assignments & exams so i kinda know how you must feel even though i didn't do health sci which sounds hard. it's easy to forget that uni isn't just about partying, you actually have to do the work if you want to pass your papers. good luck with your assignment. doing things at the last minute is never a good idea but procrastination is always an attractive option. exercising is a good way to combat stress if you can find the time & at least it will give you a break from boring assignments.

try taking vitamin b supplements because when you're stressed you lack energy & vitamin b helps your body to metabolise energy from food or something like that. also, try eating more fruit & vegies if you can afford it & of course get plenty of sleep. if only i could follow my own advice. i hope things get better for you soon. your mid-semester break must be coming up.

Yeah, I think it's going to be an all-nighter for this one. I'm going to try and do a total healthy detox next week and start new. Thanks for the advice.

So what's new with you. You working? Are you going back to uni next semester?

i was working at the studylink call center but that was only a temporary job from the start of january until the end of march so at the moment i'm unemployed. i've been trying to find a new job but i've had no luck. i'm thinking of going back to uni next semester. i'm not sure what i should study or what uni i should go to.

i'm pretty bad at making decisions. working full-time & now not working at all has made me miss uni strangely enough. caffeine is your best friend when it comes to finishing your assignments & at least stress encourages you to get it done but it's counter-productive. people always say they're going on a detox & then they give up on it after a week.

I would (of course) recommend Otago if you can get into a hall, it pretty much makes the experiences and it can be hard to meet people if you're not in one. It's good that you took some time out to see what you wanted to do, but if you think you are going to go back to uni I would get back into it soon before you get out of the studying habits of mind it can be so hard to start again after a long period off.

i don't wanna go to otago uni because it's too far away from home from me & i'm not a party animal (boring i know). i stayed in a hall when i was at massey uni & i agree it's the best way to meet people but i didn't make the most out of it. i know that if i'm going to go back to uni it's better to go sooner rather than later. i can already feel myself losing the studying frame of mind. i'm thinking of going to vic uni but the fees are much higher than massey's.
