another saturday, almost a month later...
Today was fun, I was up at 6:30 am to go to work and decorate for the other sonics thirty-something year anniversary of being open. We filled balloons with helium and tied them with string to all of the menu boards, it looked all festive and happy; balloons to me seem like happy things. Jake, a fellow co-worker was helping me tie the balloons to the stalls, he said that he never really cared for balloons...I SAY THAT'S A DAMNED LIE!! who doesn't like balloons...? :[ Well, I was excited about it anyway ;p
We were freaking busy today with the special sale we were having in celebration of the anniversary: .99 cent burgers .49 cent fries and .39 cent medium drinks. Fortunately we had more people working this saturday and were not so overwhelmed. It got really windy around eleven or twelve, like reallllly windy I decided to take off my skates so it would be less likely to lose food in the wind. I love the wind, though working in it is not as enjoyable as just walking out in it for leisure.
Speaking of anniversaries, tomorrow is the five month anniversary for me and Joe...I think I know what I am going to get him too...
I am really tired..blah. working early in the morning makes for a long day, I'm ready for bed.
