Hello, everyone, this is my first post in here and truth to be told I'm slightly nervous about it. XD; I hope you like my graphics (but if you don't, you're more than welcome to give me some constructive criticism :D). Comments are appreciated, so is credit but it's not necessary; you can add your own text to the textless versions or ask me to do ( Read more... )

I'm sure that you didn't watch our earlier posts. We aren't doing such posts. If you are adding graphics in our group, you aren't giving links to different sides.

I'm sorry but I don't quite understand what you mean. (Because trust me, I have been watching your earlier posts.) Do you mean that

a) you don't post here your possible challenge posts, such as these that require you to make 50 icons,
b) that you can post such challenge posts here but you are not mentioning that you have made the graphics for another community's challenge,
c) that you are not allowed to mention about your own graphics community/journal in here,
d) or all of that I mentioned above?

So what should I do? Should I remove the whole post, or what?

And maybe it would be best if you clearly told me what I can and can't do here so that I would know it in the future. Ok? :)

(Oh, and if I may ask... Why can't you give links to different sites in here? I'm curious about the reason(s) because I see no harm in it. So it'd be nice if you could explain that to me, as well.)

a) Do you see links for posts on different sides? We didn't give posts aprat our site, only for advertisement.
b) Yes, you can made the graphics for another community's challenge but put these post on your side. If you made graphics for our site you creating only for our group ;)
c)I will repeat myself, if you are creating for our side we would prefer so that you create for our side.
d)look at our posts, they look like they.

It's the most important rule, if in the future a baulk is feeling with us dispute certainly we'll reach an agreement. :)

You don't remove this post. That's all if you any question, ask us.

Let me see if I understood you correctly.

For starters, I wasn't only advertising with this post. Or, at least in my opinion it is not advertising for the sake of doing it to tell in a post what for you have made the graphics but common courtesy because when you have joined a challenge, it is only natural that you also let other people know about it so that they can check the place and see for themselves what it requires from the participant and/or the graphics. (Some people are curious that way.) What I mean is that partly it is advertising, but partly also informing people about the reasons you have made the graphics.

However, I do see your point and from now on I will post my challenge posts only to my own graphics community.

Now, is there any other rules I should be aware of before posting any more graphics? And how about mentioning your own graphics journal, is that allowed or not?

I understand that you became nervous, but already ok. Only what else you must know, the fact that an Asian culture is a topic of our graphicses.
You can have your side with graphic designers (like Fefe), it's not our matter what you are doing on it.
btw. I like #o2 : happy; #14 : thorned; #21 : sweet & #35 : light :)I think that you sometimes too much are sharpening.

Yeah, I was aware of that already but thanks for answering me. ^^

And yes, I know that I use sharpening a bit too much sometimes. For a long time I only used the Sharpen filter (which is, in a way, a really hard one to use when you want to get the icon sharpened enough but not too much), but now I've started to experiment with both the Sharpen Edges and the Unsharp Mask filter so hopefully I can get better results with those.
