I guess I don't really have much to update about.
We're still without wireless. I'm on the computer an average of about 25 minutes a day, as opposed to about 4 hours.
The Da Vinci Code is good so far. The only negative points are that, for one thing, it's written too much like a film. it's a bit predictable in some places, and every time he mentioned that damned parquet floor in the Louvre, I had the simpsons going through my head:
"Now, let us thank the Lord for this magnificent crystal cathedral, which
allows us to look out upon his wonderous creation. [The balloon, hanging
from which is a very nude Homer with Marge onboard, floats just above the
building, dragging Homer across the roof. His skin squeals as his rear
slides up the glass.] Now quickly! Gaze down at God's fabulous parquet
floor. [Homer continues to slide across the roof very slowly.] Eyes on
the floor... still on the floor... always on God's floor."
(wow, they do simpsons scripts online? I guess I shouldn't be surprised)
Santa was good to us this Christmas, Ellen got lots of toys, including the RC Dalek. as soon as she saw the parcel, she knew what it was. We still made he wait until last, though. Hehe.
Leen still has a kidney infection, Ellen seem's altogether better, and I have a damned head cold. But at least I can take Mucron.
In other news..
It's been snowing LOTS!
Which is cool! I drove into the back of some guy yesterday, just tapped his car, and we got out, he said 'Well I didn't see anything, did you?!' and laughed. So I wished him a merry Christmas, and we forgot all about it.
I've seen a few cars struggling quite a bit, too. So I'm glad to know it's not only me.
It looks like it kept snowing last night, and it looks lovely outside. We definitely don't get enough of it.
My sister has to go to the hospital either today, or tomorrow (I can't remember :/) for an operation. I'll have to ask Leen about it. Funnily enough, no-one has ever mentioned it to me. The only reason I know is because Leen's kept me updated.
I had to go into work last night, for all of 2 hours, we painted, and then went home. Man, I wish I could work two hours every night.
I got home, watched CSI New York, and then read in bed until midnight. And then my evil brain woke me up at 7. I swear, one day I'm gonna have my revenge on that bloody thing. It only causes trouble anyway.
Um.. it looks like I lied at the start of this entry.
