Orientation..
Today went alright. Just a bunch of reading and junk. Went over the employee manual, which is fucking huge. But I found out some pretty interesting facts about Marche'. A: Its the largest resteraunt in New England, and B: Its the only one open in the US. I guess theyre way popular in Canada and over in Germany and crap. I can understand why. The place is so freaking cute. I think this is gonna be the first job Ive had that Ill actually enjoy. At least I dont have to be ashamed of telling people where I work anymore. Heh.
The cash manager wasnt there when I got interviewed, so he didnt have my schedual ready yet. He was supposed to call me tonight, but I never heard from him, and when I called, he had already left. But the guy who was working told me to come in thursday 9-1, and to call tomorrow at noon to talk to the other guy. And yeah.. so that should be cool.
Money is good! =]
Plus after working for 6mths we get health, dental and life insurance. And after a year of working there, we get 2 weeks of paid vacation time. AND we automatically get our birthdays off, and get paid for them! How great is that?
Ive never heard of anyone doing that before. Its wicked cool. Plus we get pretty much all the food we want for free when were working ( Minus the lobster, the angst beef and the sushi... yes. Thats right steve.. you must come eat sushi at my work :] ) And when were not working, we get a 20% discount on food. Which is cool.
Employees have a break room, a changing area, lockers, a shower? in the bathroom lol. I feel important working here. Seriously. I wish I was training tomorrow, Im kinda excited to see how its gonna be actually working there.
After Orientation was over, me and this girl Nikayla chilled out and ate some lunch down in the break room before heading home. Shes pretty chill. Actually, everyone that Ive met so far is wicked chill. Its nice.
And then I came home.. and yeah.. let just says, its never a dull moment here, and Ill leave it at that.
Nikkis finally in california! Shes at disneyland right now... lucky bitch.

Oh well, at least shes bringing me back Mickey Mouse Ears. =]
I guess she might be taking a plane home. Bc phil wants to drive back himself, and not let anyone else drive, and wants to drive in shifts of 12 taking minor breaks in between.
To be honest with you, I dont blame Nikki at all. I wouldnt get in his car if that was his plan either, shes got better chance of living on an airplane, then with a sleep deprived manic phil driving her across the country.
But whatever.. Phil is dumb. Even tho I have a job.. hes STILL talking ish about me and nikki. Now hes complaining that Im comming in between their friendship.
I hang out with nikki as much as she wants to hang out. Shes usually the one whos been comming down here to see me, so she makes the calls on how much time she spends in boston. Not me. And when we do hang out up there, he doesnt want to chill with us. So whatever...
I know hes pulling this shit just to cause tension between us. And hes fucking retarded for doing so, bc hes not gonna hurt anyone but himself in the long run.
Why cant people just be happy for their friends and leave themselves the fuck out of other peoples buisness?
