So......... I'm in Murray KY right now at my friend Mary's house. Trumpet camp starts tomorrow. I got here sunday around four or five. Fun fun fun. Um.. So... Thank you to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday. :) My birthday kind of sucked, but all of those phone calls made my day a lot better. Thanks everyone! I'll keep you updated while I'm down here.
For my birthday, I got this iPod dock connector - stereo type thing. It's JBL so it's really good. I like it a lot. And it's small so.. Yeah. I brought it to Murray with me and I have been using it to go to sleep.

I also got a big shelf stereo because my old one.. Just wasn't cutting it. I mean.. I'm a big music person so.. Yeah. It sounds really nice, both of them. The sony thing has a subwoofer and all that. No, it's not the XM ready one.. It's just the same model with mostly black I guess. Anyway. So... That's what I got for my birthday. :) Lovely.
Sunday morning, (yes, my birthday)I woke up.. Well, no. That's not true. My MOTHER woke me up at 7:30. My throat hurt and I felt like shit. So I got up (and did all of the usual morning stuff..Bathroom, shower, teeth brushing, etc.) and packed my clothes and such for the next week in Murray. Though, I still managed to forget my cell phone charger and hair gel. But that's no matter, really. Marry let me borrow hers. I then put my stuff in the car (it took me like an hour to get my stupid bike in - but I finally put the back seats down meaning that taking off my front wheel was pointless) And blah blah blah. So anyway, after that I got ready to leave and we went to the >>Cheesecake Factory<<. We went in two different cars because my mother and I were going to go to Murray straight from there. But first we had to forget the directions to Mary's house and go back to get them. Robert called me while I was in the car on the way there and told me to get the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake, so I did. It was yummy. They sang Happy Birthday to me and everything and I'm sure that everyone in the resturant was thinking "Poor girl, having to celebrate her birthday on Father's day..." Haha. So anyway, the food was yummy and so was the cake. I saved my candles and took a picture - I'll show you when I get home and upload them. So anyway.........
After the Cheesecake Factory, my Mom and I left for Murray, Kentucky. Four hours of fun, I tell you. I feel sorry for my Mom because she had to drive back home... So.. That sucks. I'm still sick by the way. How lovely to be sick on your Birthday, right? Anyway, we got here and exchanged life stories amd all that like parents usually do, I got situated, my Mother left, and we went out to eat. The food kind of sucked. I got a veggie burger and some kind of soup. Which was gross, by the way. But I kept eating it, always hoping that maybe, just maybe, the next bite would taste alright. But it didn't. So then umm... I got Cheescake again. Oh my fucking God. Too much Cheesecake. So I'm tring not to eat much while I'm here. After that we went to go see Cars... Yeah. And on the way there Emma calls me to tell me that Della has run away and that she's in a different state. WTF. First I'm all worried about Adam and now Della. Holy fuck. I need new friends. So she called me back later to tell me that Della was alright. Blahhhh... Cars was okay. Then we went home. I checked my email and such... And eventually went to bed. I'm so happy I have cell phone service here!!! Yayy!
So then.. Yesterday I went out with Mary to her friend Dustin's house. He's your typical ADD, rodent loving, MCR - Green Day worshiping, Drum playing, moronic teenager with black hair and a skull on his black, t-shirt with Old English lettering. He races BMX though! Even though his bike sucks. Yeah. (Sorry, I had to leave for a second. I just sneezed and well.. The aftermath was not pretty.) Anyway... He actually wasn't that bad. We rocked out to typical 'MTV - Hardcore'. Yeah, that's my new name for what is played on the radio today. But he was actually really nice and we watched Underworld and Underworld: Evolution. I only liked it because I think that Kate B. is hot, oh yes, VERY. Haha. Then we went for a bike ride which was nice.. It opened up my lungs some.. We ordered Pizza and all chipped in. Yayy. It was decent. I had a good time.
When we got back Mary and I played some trumpet duets out of Arbans.. and um.. She's not actually that good. We're at about the same level and she's a Senior. I mean... That is typical egocentric trumpet player talk, but seriously. I mean... Wow. YPAS really has made an impression on me. I'm doing so much better than before.
Called some people.. Went to bed... Lalala.
I had this dream last night that Ms. Chan was singing Rock'N'Roll Lifestyle to me by CAKE! And oh my GOD! It was sooo weird. I think I was late to class or something, but Katie was there and haha.. I don't remember what happened. We were just sitting together in Ms. Chan's class like we always do except in the back this time. WOW. I woke up and La Vie Boheme was playing on my iPod.
Today Mary and I are going to ride around some and I dunno what else. Trumpet Camp starts tomorrow and I am really excited haha. Mostly because I played through my solo last night and it sounded really GOOD! Haha. So hopefully I'll be in the top group this year. Last year I was in the second best group which.. You know.. Is pretty good as an incoming freshman. But I have improved a lot, so hopefully I will get in the top group this year. Yayy!
I like this house a lot. It's really big, yet cozy.. And they have a lot of animals, which is nice.. It just kind of smells bad in some areas.
I don't like how people here just assume that I'm this city-girl and I've never been out to the country before. I mean, I live in the suburbs. Jesus. It's not like I've never been out here before. I mean, last year I was going to Bowling Green every weekend to visit my dying Grandmother. Ugh... I mean.. City people.. Country people. They both assume too much about other people. I mean.. ughh. Rant over, sorry.
Anyway, I've been on here for like an hour, and my hand is hurting really bad. So I'm going to get off of here and go take a shower. I'll give you an update sometime soon. :)
Love and kisses,
~HollywooD! <3
