"Well its settled then! You'll be my helper." He smiled. "And I think your mommy was right...new babies can be kind of goopy and gross." He told her and Jo agreed.

"Yeah, I saw before she took the pictures away. Will this new baby be goopy too?"

"Just for 10 minutes or so." Jim said. "But you'll get to see it once it's all nice and clean and cute."

Jo nods and focus' on her food for a bit a happy look on her face. "I'm going to be the best big sister." She says smiling

"You are going to be the best big sister kiddo." Leonard smiles working on his own food.

"I have a lot of homework tonight." Jo says a moment later

"We'll start it after dinner baby, alright?" Leonard says.

"Okay." She nods

"How are you feeling Jim?" He asks the smile he hasn't been able to get off his face all day still in place.

"I'm feelin' like helping someone beast some history homework." Jim said, taking his empty plate to the replicator.

Jo giggles and dumps hers too, before running off to get her bookbag.

Two hours later, Jim packs away the finished homework, letting Bones carry the half-asleep Joanna to bed.

Leonard wakes Jo up just long enough to put on her PJ's and then tucks her in, and reads her a bedtime story. Before joining Jim in the living room sitting next to him giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Still feeling pukey?"

"As me at about 3 am." Jim yawns, tugging off his clothes and changing into his sleep pants. He stands sideways in the mirror, hand on the flat plane of his belly as he tries to imagine how he'll look 5, 6, 7 months from now.

"Alright." He chuckles running a hand across Jim's stomach, before bending a little to kiss it. Before moving to change into his sleep pants. "The vomiting should only last a few weeks Jim." He says leaning in to give Jim a kiss on the lips.

"I know." Jim replies. "I haven't forgotten everything." He doesn't allow the sadness that usually flickers through his face at mentions of David or Carol to do so tonight, instead nodding towards the bed.

"C'mon, let's get some sleep."

"Alright Darlin'" He nods taking Jim by the hand and taking him to the bed.

Jim lays on his side, tugging Bones into his back and pulling the older man's arms around him. "I love you."

Leonard curls around around jim, on hand on the other man's stomach, pressing a kiss to the back of his neck. "I love you...both. Well all three of you." Leonard say softly eyes falling closed.

Jim laughs, half asleep. "I love all 3 of you." He nods, looping his fingers with his husband's before falling asleep.

Leonard falls into a deep sleep curled around Jim, happy about adding to the family but just a little worried for Jim.

Of course, Jim flying out of bed at 4:03am probably doesn't reduce Bones' worry.

Bones rolls out of bed and walks to the bath room rubbing the sleep out of his eyes and moves to rub Jim's back and puts a cold wash cloth on the back of his neck. "S'alright."

Jim just groans and his stomach rolls again, sending him lurching back over the toilet. And he knows it'll be worth it in the end, but Jesus does it hurt now.

Leonard sighs and moves to the kitchen and punches in something to the replicator and comes back to the bath room with a class of clear liquid. "Here Darlin' drink this you'll feel better." He says during one of the breaks, handing Jim a glass filled with ice and 7up.
