 Walking with Jim out of medical, he is a little worried but at lest the kid isn't a lump anymore and they are moving toward a better feeling Jim.  He keys them into his quarters. "So what do you want for lunch Jim?"  He says walking over to the mini kitchen.

Jim blinks a few times, like he doesn't know where he is or why Bones is insisting on such stupid questions and being so far away from him. "Do I have to eat?"

Bones sighs and puts down the pan he pulled out and walks over and wraps his arms around Jim's waist and gives him a serious look. "You do need to eat, you want to stay out of sick bay and here then you have too eat." He gives Jim a brief kiss. "Okay?"

"I'm just not that hungry..." And he's clinging to Bones a little. "Can I have a sandwich?"

"corse you can Jim," He moves back toward the kitchen area, "what kind do you want?" He asks pulling a loaf of bread out of the cabinet he would have to restock on food stuff at there next stop. Man can only live off replecator food for so long.

Jim flinches a little when Bones pulls away and almost immediately follows, sticking close. "Peanut butter and jelly?" he asks hopefully, standing beside the doctor.

Bones smiles at Jim, "You got it." He is happy Jim is eating or willing to try to but it's already seems he is going to have to get back to work on another vaccine, maybe a combination of the two previous ones would balance him out, he thinks as he makes Jim and himself sandwiches and takes them to the table before going to the replecator and getting them some juice. "There you go." He says taking a seat at the table.

"Hate to say it kid, but I think we are going to have to try again...might have to get back to the lab again later. " He takes a bite and chews for a moment, "But you can stay here."

When Bones sets down the sandwiches, Jin sits, a little bit fidgety ad he pulls one in front of him. He eats it by pulling little pieces off, still slow and cautious about food, but it's better than he's been eating by miles. He just sort of hates that Bones is so far away right now.

"Yeah." He swallows thickly. "Thank you."

"Jim, you don't have to thank me. I'm always gonna be here to take care of you." He nods, "What can I do to make you feel better right now."

"Umm, would it be just tactless and inappropriate to say I just really want to get naked with you right now?"

Bones squirms obviously in favor of the idea. "Jim, I don't want to take advantage of you....but I am not opposed to the idea." He lets out a huff of a breath.

[daredtodo]

"I don't even care if we do anything," Jim continues quickly. "You're just, like, way too fucking far away right now."

Bones stands and drags his chair next to Jim and sits down putting an arm around Jim. "Better? Think you can finish your sandwich first?"

Sandwich in hand, Jim gets as close to Bones as he can without actually sitting on him. "Yea, Bones.. I can eat."

"Good." He laughs a little "Then maybe we'll talk about getting naked." He pauses for a moment reaching across the table to grab his own sandwich, "I do have to head down to the labs later, but you can stay here."

Jim groans. "Why?"

" 'Cuse Jim Darlin' I got work to do, I gotta figure out how to get you back to 100%." He says leaning in and kissing Jim's cheek.
