Writer's Block: Regrets Only

Well, I mean, it's obviously to everyone who's ever had a pet that animals are capable of feeling emotions (and a lot more than what people give them credit for). Yes, I think animals understand when they've done something wrong - but do I think they can sit there and actively regret something that they've done? No. If animals could regret specific things that they've done, they'd just sit around moping and being depressed over having missing their last kill instead of moving on, being productive, trying again.

So, can they understand when they've done something wrong and feel bad in the moment? Yes. Can they later regret having done it? No.

imo.
