As you're reading this entry, somewhere in the universe, enough gas has coalesced into an entity with sufficient mass to begin fusion. Gas. Stars have been born. Stars which will burn brightly for billions of years and will throw their light and charged particles over inconceivable distances in all directions. Their discharges will be detected by countless sentient entities during the time it exists. The belief systems, navigational data and mythology of some life will be born from these stars. It will inspire poetry, romance and science. Incomprehensible numbers of creatures will see this and take it for granted on almost every occasion.

Not only this, but by fundamental physics they will influence everything they come into contact with. It will be such a very small influence, but it cannot be denied. We will never see any of this. Ever. It's too far away.

If you think your problems are important, then think again.
