After 6 happy and fruitful years with the company I'm recently connected with, I will bid goodbye to it and transfer to a new job that will take me to another country.
Yup, from one third world to another third world.
Now, I worry about the massive amount of clothes I have accumulated and all the artworks, plates, and forks&spoons and all the knick knacks I've surrounded myself with. What to do with them? Certainly, I can't bring them all. I have to edit.
Inspired by the current craze of re-selling and by Ms. Chuvaness' unloading of her bags, I've also started selling my edited designer's clothes to my friends. Although I think I'm crazy for doing it, I'd rather have my friends have the clothes I've bought (most still un-worn) than have it sitting rotten in storage. Worse could happen. I still remember a Jil Sander shirt that was eaten for lunch by a certain fashionista moth. Also, the Yohji Yamamoto shirt that a certain fashionista mouse had for dinner. Why couldn't they have chewed on any of my generic shirts? I don't even want to remember those moments.
On Saturday, I'm going to have another Don Protasio Super Sale and I'm letting go some of my bags ( a Mulberry, a Westwood) and more clothes (Jil Sander, Calvin Klein, etc).
