Hello~

I've been meaning to post an update about Things for a while, I'm just now getting to it! To be honest, I've not had the best of weeks, so let us take stock of the nicer things, shall we?
(and with a Patrick Stewart icon, who could possibly be sad? ^^)

My first-ever FMA fic won second place in last week's fma_fic_contest! I am so incredibly honored;

I've been to many an orchestra concert (and been in plenty), as well as numerous bluegrass/folk, and even a few blues and jazz-- but never rock or pop for me, either. I'm happy to finally get to go! L'Arc-en-Ciel is one of my greatest loves in life, honestly... Undoubtedly I will write about my experience. ^^/

I also like L'Arc-en-Ciel, though obviously not anywhere near with your passion XD Of course, I first came to love them through their FMA stuff, but I like their other stuff, too. Especially to listen to while driving! XD I used to do an hour+ commute every weekend, and I'd just put the disc on repeat. I have just been thinking I need to buy myself more of their albums!

I'm so glad you like them too~ They are so wonderful. I learned of them through FMA as well; "Link" was the song that made me fall in love with them, and it remains my favorite song of theirs. <3 I always listen to L'Arc while I drive; there's just no other way to start a day well~

Ugh, I know, I have to get my butt in gear for this week's prompt, too.

Haha, I totally had a big long paragraph about "Link" that I took out of my previous reply because my it was getting bible-length. XD

But yes, it is my favorite, too! I have to admit that because I was so in love with "Lost Heaven" from the moment that CoS crushed my heart for the first time, I rather overlooked "Link" for a few years. It's only the last year or so that I've finally grown a real appreciation for it.

And I have to say, I just don't understand why it doesn't get more fandom love! I mean, especially from *cough* MY segment of the fandom, if you know what I mean, because it's SO shippy.

If you don't mind my asking, what translation do you prefer? ("Always ask the expert," is my policy! XD) I checked around the internet a little, and to be honest, I wasn't much impressed with what I found. I thought that maybe its lack of popularity with the rest of the fandom might have something to do with the less-than-stellar translations I'd had pop up.

I just sat down to start working on an entry and ended up writing something totally different. XD; Darn it, me. I just shake my head and sigh
