Comment and I'll give you a letter. In your journal, list 10 of your favorite songs that begin with that letter. In keeping with the changes Geoffry and the person who tagged him made, all songs will be available for download. It's kind of a mixtape thing.

I was assigned the letter L by somniamemoria, so here we go! Everything's uploaded on mediafire. Just tell me if you want it uploaded somewhere else.

Last Word - Rentrer en Soi (japanese) - This was the first, and I think remains to be one of the only, songs I heard from Rentrer en Soi. I can't remember where I downloaded it or why, but I'm so glad I did. It's slow and sad, with acoustic guitar and heartbreaking vocals. I have no idea what the song is about and the voice might put some people off, but it's a song worth trying anyway.

LUCY - Anna Tsuchiya (japanese) - I LOVE THIS SONG dfglzdfgfg. I probably wouldn't like it so much without the video, but still. Anna Tsuchiya has so much energy and her songs are so different from what most asian female artsits put out. This is one of her rock songs and again, I absolutely love it! This may or may not be one of the song she did for the Nana anime, I don't remember.

Love Sick - F.T. Island (korean) - Okay, I SWORE not to be sucked into the fandom that is F.T. Island - after listening to the rest of their CD I don't think I ever will - but I do love this song. I can't remember which of them is the vocalist, but whoever he is I love his voice. His voice isn't what I expected it to be.. At some parts it sounds really young and at others almost too old for him. And for whatever reason, the song reminds me of something you'd hear on a drama soundtrack. I'm not sure why?

Lise - Emilie Simon (french) - Emilie Simon is an expert at making some of the creepiest music I've ever heard. I don't speak a word of french, so I can't even begin to tell you what this song is really about. When I listen to it, though, it makes me think of someone who's extremely isolated and I guess sort of going crazy in their own thoughts. Perhaps this is only because that's a little of how I was when I first heard this song, I don't know. I'm not sure how much everyone will enjoy this one, aha.

Life After Death and Taxes - Relient K (english) - One of my favorite tracks off Mmhmm. I adore Relient K (they're a Christian band btw) and even though it's not one of their sillier more lovable songs, it's still one of my favorites. I don't really know what to say about it haha. It's rock, but it has slower parts and lyrics like 'the nucleus of politics'. If you're tired of the same old tragic, one sided love songs I think you might enjoy this one.

Love Potion - Sarina (instrumental) - If you haven't heard of Sarina, she's a japanese violinist. I'm not sure exactly what genre she is, some songs are more hip hop and some are.. I don't know. But there's no singing involved, just her violin and other intsruments. It's not classical, though, so don't let that deter you. I didn't think I would like her music when I first decided to try it, but I ended up loving it. I put this one up even though it's, in my opinion, admittedly not one of her more amazing songs because I think more people should know about her. I'll upload a couple more songs if anyone wants them?

Luo Ye Gui Gen [落叶归根] - Wang Lee Hom (mandarin? feel free to correct me on this) - This man has put out some of my favorite songs of all time (Can You Feel My World?, Kiss Goodbye) and I have a lot of good memories tied to his songs. This is one of his newest songs off of his most recent album, and it's a ballad as beautiful as one would expect from him. Excuse my fangirl-y ness, but I really can't get enough of this man. His voice is perfect and clear, he plays 5623567 million intrsuments, he's handsome, and he speaks fluent english 8D

Let It Be - The Beatles (english) - I'm actually not really a huge fan of their music. This one's more of a family joke than anything ahaha. I do like the song though..
Cannot see, cannot seeeee.

Let It Rain - Epik High (korean) - aauugufdg DAMN YOU EPIK HIGH. You are so addicting ;___;. This song is kinda differnet from what I normally listen to by Epik High. Then again, I am a slave to their more recent hits like Fan and have not even heard their first album. Forgive me! >__> This song is off their third album I think. The singing sounds desparate (in a good way), but this might just be me. The rapping is excellent as always, but the actual singing is what makes me remember this song. It actually reminds me of rain..

Lie 거짓말 - Big Bang (korean) - I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU, BIG BANG. Everyone and their mother is currently listening to this song, and now I am counted among them. I WILL NEVER, EVER FORGIVE YOU. I swore to myself some time ago that I would not be sucked into the Big Bang fandom, BUT NOW LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO! I cannot stop listening to your damn song. Everytime I open iTunes these days, I always go straight to 거짓말. HOW IS THIS HEALTHY? How am I supposed to enjoy other music when I cannot force myself to take your stupid song off repeat?! Fuck you, Big Bang.

Forever a slave to your beats,
Me.
