We tend to choose our friends based on how much fun we have with them, not how reliable they are. That's why only one of my friends is an accountant - dependability hardly ever comes into play. Also, for some reason it's a lot easier to reneg on a deal with your friends than it is with complete strangers. I'm not sure why that is, but it is the main reason why I've never entered into a financial arrangement of any importance with any of my friends. But then you know what lunatics say - ghanush, gribbledy grunkle.
yeah, good point. However, I try to stick to any commitments I make, even if it may not be as easy to do as it first thought. (I'm guessing that Mr. Scuds here has the same predisposition). And i think its natural to presume that others have that same kind of integrity. at any rate, for me it's not really a question of how good of a friend, but rather if someone will hold to their commitments.

fo realz, i totallydig that point of view. i guess i based my trust on my instincts. if i likea person and feel very close to them i would never let them down, especially in an agreement such as this one was.
it never ceases to amaze me how people can seem straight, and be fakers all the same.
good luck man.
peace
