I've been one of 2 folks from my class selected to represent the program at the annual "Tech Bowl" competition between RT schools in the PA/NJ/DE region. If we place, everyone in our class will get extra days off of our final clinical rotation, so everyone's REALLY keen on our doing well. It's next Friday, so there's a week to review/cram 2 years

No seriously...you know I understand the where to study problem...cafes incite guilt - "wow I can study here, but is it OK to sit with just one cup of coffee for 6 hours?"
Finally using fraudulent means to get into a local law library - which I will be kicked out of during their finals...
Another suggestion which has worked for me, is office buildings that have kind of court-yard-y places for employees. Fox plaza on Market near Fell etc. was a hidden gem...never would have occured to me to even go in there until an annoying fellow student hipped me...dunno if you have anything like that in yer hood - doesn't sound like it...and honestly, I would even consider going to safeway these days if it came to that - what with the new trend of tables-where-you-can-eat-your-rotisserie-chicken-or-high-falutin-salad-or-chinese-y-food-or-fresh-sushi-without-leaving-a-tip dining. Has that trend caught on?
