My first day at BPP today! Essentially just an administrative day, but we were also given a literal shedload of books with excellent and erudite titles along the lines of Blackstone's Statutes on Contract, Tort and Restitution - 16th Edition.
Pleasingly, my tutor is a former classicist. I also found myself sitting next to a classicist from Exeter, and have heard of several others knocking around. However, it's not just a bunch of poncy Oxonians seeking the ability to sue anyone who tells them that their first degree was an impractical waste of time - the class is remarkably diverse and eclectic, which can only be a good thing.
I still have the enthusiasm! Let's see if it survives this weekend's reading.
