(no subject)
no photos yet, sorry guys! that'll have to wait till i get back im afraid. went to auschwitz today (oh yeah, im in poland btw) and... took like sixty pictures, so mr b better be happy! i wont post the pics on the journal, but if you want them, ill make you a cd... im making one for mr b anyways, cuz he wanted them in the first place! poland is a land where amber runs freely (but is still fairly pricey.. well not really, it depends what you get, and since ive now spent waaaaaaaay too much money.. again, it seems pricey :P) i did a huge spend when i was in england, spending about 200 canadian dollars (yikes!) on clothes and stationary... and now ive spent more :( on presents for you guys (silly people who had to have birthdays i couldnt afford presents for), makeup and stationary (yes more) for me... mwahaha. but now im broke. again lmao.. which is why im spending money at an internet cafe! (duh!)
anyhoo... the poles... the map i had (silly backpacker one) said that the polish people celebrate everything. it's absolutely right! there's some sort of festival right now, involving a marching band with feathered hats, horribly out of tune instruments and funny dancing, and strange people, supposedly important, making speaches that are interluded with triumphant brass band choruses. VERY STRANGE!!!! krakow itself is fairly nice, although the weather continues to be high on something and thinks it's october. blah to three layers! it's not as cheap as i thought it would be! >< so ive spent over two thirds of my money that i had... which wasn't a whole lot to begin with... on stuff for birthdays, and people i deemed it necessary to bring home gifts for (i.e. my mother). i myself walked out of a mall with a totally adorable binder (with sheepies!), some grid paper and a grid paper adorable notebook (also with sheepies!!!!) hopefully that will help me get through calc next year... also with thirteen new eyeshadows and a yummy yummy lipgloss (courtesy of ibglot). ive also picked up some cup-of-soup thingies for next year's late nights without caf. correction. NEXT MONTH'S!!!!nyag. frosh starting in 11 days!!!! and i get back in 6 days!!!! please dont remind me how utterly rushed that is, i already know!
