(no subject)
So I probably said this before somewhere but I'm feeling more and more conflicted about the fact that I care so much about how black women have been written out of history. I find myself still pissed off every time my father says that women aren't capable of x,y, or z, or that black men have had it so much worse during this county's racist ass history. I really take issue with that almost like those comments refer to me. Can you be both a black man and a black feminist? I mean I know you can, but am I not really a man because this pisses me off so much? Saying it out loud makes it sounds ridiculous, but what does everyone else think?
